PaintFest / Orlando

During the Orlando Fall 2008 Summit, the Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC) built upon the enthusiasm generated during last year's Atlanta Fall "PaintFest" project by bringing the CRC to the Orlando Summit thereby giving more attendees the opportunity to volunteer and get engaged.
- One day only, Saturday, 8 November 9am-3pm
- "On site" near the Summit registration area
- In cooperation with the Foundation for Hospital Art, whose "Healing of Art" concept has reached over 800 hospitals, treatment facilities and shelters in 166 countries
- Volunteers put paintbrush to canvas and created six-panel murals. It was easy and fun for all.
- Murals will be donated to pre-selected charitable organizations throughout Orlando
- Net proceeds of the project will be donated to the Children's Home Society of Florida, the benefiting charity of the previous Orlando Summit.
